Lazy Dessert

So, I know this has been done on a thousand blogs.

But, it's totally true. Frozen bananas are easy, delicious, and healthy.

Just puree.

Add cinnamon if you want.

It's as healthy as eating a banana and as pleasurable as eating ice cream!

Lazy Dinner

Made rice and ribs at school.

Threw some barbecue sauce on the rack, threw it in the oven on a baking sheet at 450 until it bubbled, microwaved a bit of the rice that was still pretty warm from school.

Zam tried to get some, but he was unsuccessful.

Menestra de Verduras

Pic Dump

Mise en place:

Forgot a few ingredients in my photo...
Hard boiled eggs:

1.25 cup stock (I made it from base)

6 small potatoes (i.e., 3 medium potatoes)

Corn (I used hominy)

Onion:

All chopped and ready to go:

Final Product:

Grilling

Boyfriend made hamburgers while I was cooking, grabbed a couple shots, no idea what he did though. :) I believe there is cilantro, garlic powder, Lea & Perrins worcestershire, and A1 Savory Black Pepper and Onion Steakhouse Marinade. Could be wrong on which marinade he used and
probably missed a few spices. We used provolone and Pick-N-Save buns. Burgers turned out great!

Pork Empanada Part II : Filling

I followed the recipe in my "Spanish" cookbook for the dough and the filling, although you could use either on their own. Again, my additions are in Italics. I deviated from this recipe also, so I am going to try to explain what I did and show pictures of each step. The official recipe is included at the bottom of this post. (I have all the pictures up now but I might still come back to this post to explain the process a bit better).
